Cautery for Warts and Tag Removal

Electrocautery is a method of removing a wart using heat from an electric current. Electricity is used to heat the needle inserted into the cord. Electricity is not sent to your body. Electrocautery can also be used to remove some growths on your skin. Electrocautery removes warts from the vagina, genitals, or near the anus by burning them with a low-energy probe. Electrocautery is usually done in a doctor’s office or clinic.

Dr. Zartash B performs work with proper attention during this treatment and provide:

A needle-shaped hot tip is attached to your cord. Skin cells are killed by the scorching heat. The area around your wart may look burnt (white and swollen). Your caregiver will remove dead skin. A skin sample can be sent to a lab for testing.

The treatment will take about 20 to 30 minutes. Dr. Zartash B will cover the area with a bandage.

It is very important to keep your wound clean with soap and water to prevent infection. You can cover it with a small bandage to protect it for a few days. Once the bandage is wet, replace it with a clean, dry bandage.

Cautery for tag removal:

Removal of these tags is not covered under medical insurance, as it is considered a cosmetic procedure. To easily remove them from the home, many people sign up for a binding method, in which the tag is tied tightly with dental floss or string, and left to fall off. However, your doctor may remove them if you wish.

Removal of skin tags is a personal choice to be considered when marking is problematic, be it for decoration or other reasons. But in general, there are no issues involved in leaving the tags alone or removing them.

The good thing is that you can find different successful ways to remove your skin tags from the clinic of DR. Zartash B. Aesthetic specialist.
